John W. Flure

	John W. Flure, age 82, of Pinckneyville, IL died Sunday, October 3, 2004 in the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale at 6:24 p.m..
	John was born on May 21, 1922, a son to John J. and Rose (Magerkurth) Flure. He married Helen L. Lambert on July 27, 1946 in St. Louis, MO.  He enjoyed gardening and family dinners and loved birds.
	Survivors include his wife, 3 daughters: Sharon Willson and husband John of Wyoming, Marilyn Epplin and husband Steve of Pinckneyville, and Carolyn Flure of Texas, 2 brothers: George Flure and wife Virginia of Pinckneyville and Charles Flure and wife Rita of St. Louis, MO, 2 sisters: Ella Mae Kellerman and husband Rudolph and Catherine Smith and husband Robert, all of Pinckneyville, 5 grandchildren: Kelly Bender and husband Bill, Brent Epplin, Kim, Heath and Adam Willson.
	He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 half-brother: Floyd Joseph Stern and wife Martha, and 1 sister: Dorothy Rose Flure.
	Funeral Services were held in St. Bruno Catholic Church on Thursday, October 7, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Brian Barker officiating. Interment was at the St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery in Todd's Mill, IL. Graveside military rites provided by Presswood-Daffron American Legion Post #2504 of Pinckneyville, IL.
	Friends called at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Pinckneyville on Wednesday, October 6, 2004 from 6:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. and again on Thursday from 8:00 a.m. till 9:30 a.m. with the rosary recited at 9:00 a.m.
	Memorial donations may be made to the St. Bruno School or St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery Association.
